A noção de sintoma, que Freud extrai do discurso médico e a subverte, será várias vezes remanejada por Lacan para tomar radicalmente um valor fundador para a estrutura do sujeito. Sua articulação com o laço social se encontra sempre rearticulada, assim como a possibilidade de fazer do sintoma social uma noção psicanalítica.

The social symptom. The notion of symptom, which Freud extracts from the medical discourse and then subverts, will be often altered by Lacan to be given an intrinsic value to the structure of the subject. Its articulation with the social tie is always rearticulated, as well as the possibility of giving the social symptom a psychoanalytical notion.

Lacan considera dois modos de escravidão. O primeiro é parte integrante do discurso do senhor, tomado em parte de Hegel. O segundo consiste na generalização proletarizada do primeiro em virtude do impacto do discurso capitalista. Mas deve-se considerar ainda um terceiro, devido à Colonização Escravagista Racializada/CER. Submeteremos cada um desses modos aos critérios de lógica de reversibilidade e da clínica de especularidade.

Three slaves. Lacan considers two types of slavery. The first is an integrant part of the speech of the master, partly taken from Hegel. The second consists in the proletarized generalization of the first due to the impact of the capitalist discourse. But a third one should be considered because of radical slave colonization. We will submit each of these types to the criteria of the logic of reversibility, clinic of speculation.

Este artigo apresenta alguns aspectos da experiência surrealista da linguagem nos anos 1920, mostrando que o automatismo surrealista se inspira no funcionamento do inconsciente proposto por Freud. Considerando a linguagem como fundamento da realidade humana, Breton antecipa as formulações de Lacan sobre o eu e a realidade. No entanto, a primeira concepção lacaniana da linguagem, circunscrita exclusivamente ao simbólico, separa Lacan do surrealismo. Apenas nos anos 1970, a teoria da linguagem em Lacan permitirá pensar a prática surrealista da linguagem.

The surrealist experience of language: Breton and the psychoanalysis. This article presents some aspects of the surrealist experience of language in the twenties, showing that the surrealist automatism is inspired by the functioning of the unconscious as described by Freud. Considering language as the foundation of human reality, Breton anticipates Lacan's formulation of the self and reality. Nevertheless, the first Lacanian conception of language, exclusively circumscribed to the symbolic register, separates Lacan from surrealism. Only in the seventies, will Lacan's theory of language allow the interpretation of the surrealist practice of language.

O presente trabalho tem como interesse explorar a linguagem enquanto parte constitutiva da técnica do método psicanalítico, a partir do enfoque pragmático da filosofia da linguagem ordinária. Tendo como ponto de partida a teoria sobre Lógica e conversação,de H. P. Grice, analisa os traços gerais da fala em análise, tal como propôs originalmente Freud, e o que se diferencia dos traços gerais da conversação ordinária. Busca-se demonstrar que a associação livre em conjunto com a atenção (uniformemente) flutuante estruturam um princípio particular de cooperação conversacional bem como máximas diferenciadas que regem a fala analítica.

Conversational logic and psychoanalytic technique. The study at hand aims to examine language as an essential and constitutive part of the Psychoanalytic Method technique, making use of the pragmatic frame of ordinary language philosophy. Having considered the theory on Logic and Conversation by H. P. Grice as its starting point, this study analyses the general traits of analytical speech, as Freud originally suggested, as compared to the general traits of ordinary conversation. It also demonstrates how free association, combined with (evenly) suspended attention, gives rise to a particular principle of conversational cooperation, as well as distinct precepts, which govern analytical speech.

Este ensaio visa a elucidar de que maneira a experiência psicanalítica permite expor a singularidade do desejo, na apresentação da cisão subjetiva, ao desalojar o sujeito da unidade de sua representação nos agrupamentos sociais. Para este fim, buscou-se contrapor à dimensão da besteira, concebida como fenômeno de adesão coletiva aos lugares comuns, a besteira em seu bom uso, aqui pensada a partir da instauração de uma experiência do significante dissociada de toda exigência social de significação.

Concerning the good use of rubbish in the psychoanalytical experience. This essay aims at clarifying the way the psychoanalytical experience allows the display of the singularity of desire, in the presentation of subjective splitting, as it dislodges the subject from the unity of his representation in social groups. In order to reach this goal, rubbish, conceived as a collective adhesion to the commonplaces, was confronted with its good use, here defined as derived from a significant experience dissociated from the whole social demand of signification.

O trabalho examina a hipótese de J-C. Milner que afirma que o sujeito da experiência psicanalítica, por ser correlato da ciência moderna, também o é do contingente. Busca-se verificar até que ponto tal hipótese se sustenta e checar se encontra fundamentos no pensamento lacaniano. Discutimos as categorias do contingente e do necessário, no que se refere ao inconsciente, para concluirmos que não é viável uma psicanálise exclusivamente do contingente, esta dimensão devendo ser sempre tomada em referência ao necessário.

The psychoanalytic subject between the contingent and the necessary. This paper examines Milner's hypothesis in which the subject of the psychoanalytic experience, as a correlate of modern science, is a correlate of the contingency. We have investigated if this hypothesis is sustainable and if it is well founded on the Lacanian thinking. We have discussed the categories of the contingent and the necessary, relating them to the unconscious, concluding that a psychoanalysis of the contingent is not viable, because this dimension must be considered with reference to the necessary.

Que o analista seja analisado é a segunda regra fundamental da psicanálise, de acordo com Sándor Ferenczi. Este autor é louvado por Lacan pelo questionamento autêntico de sua responsabilidade de terapeuta. Faz-se aqui um breve comentário de algumas referências de Lacan a Ferenczi, tendo-se por perspectiva o controverso debate sobre a formação do analista.

The second fundamental rule: a note about Lacan's Ferenczi. The analysis of the analyst is the second rule of psychoanalysis, following Sándor Ferenczi. This author is considered by Lacan an authentic questioner of his responsibility as a psychotherapist. The reader will find here a brief note about some of Lacan's comments on Ferenczi. Our concern here is the training of the analyst.

O autor procura destacar a presença de Jung na correspondência de Freud com os principais discípulos, no contexto histórico da constituição do movimento psicanalítico e no desdobramento mais importante do mesmo. Vale dizer, a figura de Jung como fantasma no discurso psicanalítico se articula com uma série de problemáticas não apenas teóricas, mas também políticas e institucionais, de maneira que as ressonâncias atuais desta polêmica continuam ainda presentes na psicanálise contemporânea.

Jung's ghost. The author tries to highlight Jung's presence in the mail exchange with his main disciples, in the historic context of the constitution of the psychoanalytic movement and in its most important unfolding. It should be said that the figure of Jung as a ghost in the psychoanalytic discourse is articulated with a number of problems that are not only theoretical, but also political and institutional, so that the current repercussions of that polemic remain.
